I recently read the tips you provided on your website.
I accessed you through John's Sporting Goods' link selection.
I caught my first steelhead using the tips you listed for using
a sink-tip and a weighted egg sucking leech.
Thanks for your splendid advice, it really made my trip to the Skykomish
a great one (even my dad saw me catch the 10lb monster!).

My arm was sore the next day, but I recovered
quickly and was already scheming for my next trip.
To my good fortune, my wife's conference is planning
a reunion next year about the same time.

I spent some time fly fishing in Oregon last week.
I had a chinook hooked, he jumped three times, then busted the fly off.
I wish I would have mastered your knot!
The good news...I caught two steelhead right after I lost the chinook.
I was stoked! Anyways, the steelies were beautiful.
I caught all my fish stripping as the river was low and there was not much of
a current to swing flies.
Without the knowledge learned from you I wouldn't even have a clue how to
fish for Salmon/Steelhead.

Thanks for your advice. I hooked about 8 chums in about
2 hours, landed just one. They were just breaking the
leader (8lb Orvis super thin). Thanks a lot for the
trip we did, I am looking at the river with a completly
new look now.
