A guided trip at King Lake includes a full day with a guide and instruction on everything you need to know to catch fish. This includes casting instruction and information on various techniques, what lines, leaders, and flies to use, and how to use them. Equipment including rods, lines, leaders, and flies are included in the price of the trip at no extra charge.

There are also a variety of ways to fish King Lake. You can sight fish by casting to crusing fish from the boat, or you can also just troll from the boat. There are two floating docks that a positioned in an area were a large number of fish tend to congregate. You can use a floating line and cast dries from the dock or use a full sinking line, wet flies, and catch fish using a strip retrieve.

Rates

Confirmed Dates are only held with a deposit for half the trip amount.

2006 Daily Rates for King Lake Fly Fishing

• $250 for a single angler
• $200 per person, Monday to Sunday

When you contact Chris about booking a trip, be prepared with the following information:

Your Name
The time period you are interested in.
The day of the week you prefer to fish.
The number of people in your party.

Send a deposit for half the amount of the trip.

The deposit will hold your date. You can pay the deposit by sending a check to the address below. (Checks are not deposited until after the trip.) Please note, you need to set up the trip by email or phone before making the deposit.

Cancelations

If you need to cancel your trip, call Chris at either of the phone numbers listed below. Deposits are fully refundable for cancelations up to 5 business days before the trip.

Sorry, deposits can not be refunded for cancelations less than 5 business days before the trip.
